BASED IN ROME, ITALY

Was born in Mexico. She has an honors degree in Industrial Design together with a degree in Education and Development which she achieved at Anahuac University. She also has a MA in Religious Studies a BAFD and a liturgy for pastoral action from 2012 until present. From 1978 to 1983 she was an English teacher in elementary and high school with the School del Bosque, Mexico. Between September 1983 and July 1984 she was coordinator of the English department and technical deputy director of the Institute Rosedal in Mexico. Following this she was a member of the founding team of the Irish Institute school in Rome, Italy and was the director of this school between February 1987 and July 1994. Mari Carmen was in collaboration with the founding of the Châtelard School between January 1991 and July 1992. For the school year 1994-1995 she was the Director of Studies at Everest School, Madrid before becoming the director of Le Chatelard from September 1995 until July 2002. She then spent 5 years as the National Director of Training Groups and apostolate of children, youth and adults in France. From 2007 to 2010 she was Director of Studies of the Regnum Christi consecrated Training Centre in Madrid before becoming a teacher of the Regnum Christi consecrated in Monterrey, Mexico until 2012. Mari Carmen is now the General Counsel of the Association of Consecrated Regnum Christi and has been since 2012.
