Kevin Egan

BASED IN MONTERREY, MEXICO

Kevin is Irish and has been the director of the Himalaya School in Monterrey, Mexico since 2011. He graduated from the University Regina Apostolorum, Rome Italy with a major in Philosophy and also a Diploma in Theology. Whilst at the Center of Humanity Studies, Salamanca, Spain he acquired a B.A. in Humanities. From 1987-1991 Kevin was a Dean of Discipline at the Irish Institute Mexico then between 1993-1997 he worked as the Assistant Director of Youth Formation of Spain in Network of Schools Semper Altius. Here he lead a national team of people dedicated to helping boys achieve a more integral formation in the cities of Madrid, Sevilla, Salamanca, Valencia and Barcelona, directed many formation courses to future directors of school and Youth organizations. Lead a team in Aachen, Germany to begin youth work in the area and organized and directed a month long summer course for teenagers in the north of Spain for over a hundred boys from all over the world. He is currently attending courses at Harvard Graduate School of Education. He has also worked as Intern Director at Cumbres School, Caracas, Venezuela from 1998-1999. Director of Cumbres School Saltillo, Mexico from 1999-2007 and between 2007-2011 was the Director of Alps & Cumbres School, Guadalajara, Mexico.
