I hope that this message finds you very well.
Another week has come and gone. Last Thursday all the girls had a competition on French vocabulary, it’s a fun way for them to learn the language. I am very happy to tell you that the Junior High School winners were, Maria Bribiesca, Carmen Roji and Ana Sofia Cadena. The first three places for the High School went to, Ana Cristina Villalobos, Luisa Rodriguez and Maria Cano and we would like to congratulate them for their hard work.
Saturday took the Junior High School to Neuchatel where after they went sightseeing were able to do a little shopping. Then they spent the rest of their afternoon ice skating where a lot of amusement was had by all.
Saturday took the High School to Zurich for the day. Zurich is the largest city within Switzerland, settlement dating from 2000 years ago, and is located in north-central Switzerland at the northwestern tip of Lake Zurich. Here the girls enjoyed a guided visit of the city, sightseeing and shopping for the day.
On Sunday the girls stayed here at the Chatelard and prepared their suitcases for their trips on Wednesday.
I would also like to let you know that I will be leaving on a retreat with the other consecrated tomorrow evening until the weekend and following this, Luly and I will be leaving on promotional trips until the beginning of November. During our absence the Deans of Discipline will be looking after your daughters and staying with them here at the academy.
I look forward to writing to you again with all the news of your daughters trips but in the meantime, I send my prayers and blessings to you and your families,
